Weekdays 3p-7p

The groundskeeper at Buffalo Creek Golf Club in Manatee County is going to be busy. A Florida Man tried to evade Manatee County Sheriff’s deputies by driving on to the golf course. As you can imagine, it didn’t end well for him.

It started when the Florida Man, William Ballard, was spotted driving on the wrong side of the road without his headlights on. Deputies tried to make a traffic stop but Ballard fled.

The deputies called for their helicopter to join the chase and it captured the footage of Ballard driving onto the golf course. He eventually drove into a pond and decided to flee on foot. The helicopter saw his every move and guided deputies to his location. Check out the footage from the chopper:

Ballard believed that he had a warrant for his arrest and that’s why he fled. The sheriff’s office said there was no warrant for Ballard but he was driving with a suspended license. Ballard was charged with fleeing to elude a law enforcement officer at high speed.
