Popular Tampa Bay TV News Anchor Retiring After 37 Years

Kelly Ring announced that she is retiring from television, where she is a news anchor for FOX 13, after 37 years in Tampa Bay. Kelly made the announcement during the 6 o'clock news on Tuesday evening saying, "I remember the first time I walked into this television station more than three decades ago. I was a wide-eyed reporter and didn’t know a single person, but wow, what a journey this has been."

Kelly began here career at FOX 13 in 1985 and has been a main news anchor on the station since 1990. Her last day on FOX 13 will be May 25.

Kelly says that she is going to spend more time with her family during her retirement.
