Luke Bryan will be watching and celebrating Super Bowl LVI on Sunday in Las Vegas (where he is performing this weekend), but as he shared, he can't party too much, he's got jet off to a tropical island.

Luke told us during a press conference for his Las Vegas residency at Resorts World, "We're gonna have a fun set up here in the hotel and have a big Super Bowl party here at Resorts World with all our friends. It will be weird because I've never done the Super Bowl in West Coast time, so I guess it starts at like 3:30."

He added, "Then right when the Super Bowl is done I have to fly through the night to Hawaii to do 'American Idol.' So, gotta kind of have a tame Super Bowl."

Bryan posted to Twitter a video clip as he gets ready for his Las Vegas Resorts World debut tonight (2/11).

Country Music At The Super Bowl

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
