Tabitha Parker is a paramedic in Manatee County and taught her daughter, Peyton, the Heimlich maneuver after 6-year-old brother was choking on a piece of bacon. Peyton didn't have to wait long to use the Heimlich maneuver because her step dad Michael was choking and Peyton have to use it.

The whole event took place on a surveillance camera inside their home. It shows Michael choking on a piece of sandwich, then he looks for his step son and then they find Peyton, so she can perform the Heimlich maneuver. Peyton gives Michael the Heimlich maneuver and dislodged the piece of sandwich and saved his life.

Michael said, "I'd be dead if it wasn't for them. It's mind-blowing, you know, and it's scary, but I've never been more proud."
