Chaz Stevens from Deerfield Beach, Florida assembles his Festivus pole out of beer cans in the rotunda of the Florida Capitol

Tampa Bay Celebrates 2021 Festivus With Airing of Tampa Bay Grievances. Haaa. I love this. As you know, “Festivus Is For The Rest Of Us “and once again, The Tampa Bay Times is inviting all of Tampa Bay to their Airing Of Grievances using this simple form.

It was 24 years ago on Seinfeld, George’s dad Frank Costanza introduced us to the “Festivus Pole” and “Feats Of Strength” that go along with the anti-consumer holiday for the rest of us and is celebrated every year on December 23rd. Happy Festivus Everybody.

We’re still celebrating, and sharing our petty concerns and complaints every year. Here is a look at what we in Tampa Bay aired in 2020.

My Festivus “Airing Of Tampa Bay Grievances” include –

The Howard Frankland Bridge Going Into Tampa Needs 23 More Lanes.

Shortcake At The Florida Strawberry Festival Should Be All You Can Eat.

Anyone Renting A Scooter In Ybor Should Pass A Basic Skills And Common Sense Test First.

Vacationers And Snowbirds Should Not Be Allowed To Drive In The Left Lane, Ever.

Hope you can come by later for the “Feats Of Strength.” Merry Christmas by the way.

And Happy Festivus For The Rest Of Us!
