Weekdays 10a-3p

Cars without drivers in Tampa Bay sooner than you think? I’m thinking over the next 10 years. These guys are thinking 10 months, or weeks? Not so fast. One expert did admit he thought 10 years ago that AV’s would be common by 2021.

But, looks like Tampa Bay is leading the way with automated vehicles aka AV’s.

Did you know a company called Voyage operates self driving cars at a retirement area north of Orlando? Florida has been OK with driverless automated vehicles on public roads since 2019. There are testing areas and vehicles must be eligible.

I’d ride one in downtown Tampa, Clearwater, or St Pete. I think they are cool. But, you go first.
