Chris Stapleton sings backgrounds vocals on Taylor Swift's new single "I Bet You Think About Me" from her newly re-released "Taylor's Version" of her 2012 album Red.
Backstage at last week's (11/10) CMA Awards, Chris said when asked about being a part of Adele's upcoming new album and Taylor's new music, "I can tell you very simply, they called, and I answered. Those are calls that you pick up and 'What do you want me to do?' That's how that goes. That's what I can tell you about it. The rest of it, they'll have to tell you on their own time."
The song is a bit more country than most of Swift's current songs and has come out with a new music video directed by actress Blake Lively.
Chris does not appear in the music video, which has racked up almost 4 million views on YouTube in less than a day, but it does feature cameos by actor Miles Teller and indie-rock favorite Aaron Dessner.
