Grady Judd Calls Out North Port Police. Sheriff Grady Judd of Polk County has gone on record about the disappearance of Gabby Petito and the search for Brian Laundrie.

After acknowledging that his department is not involved in the case, he stated what his thoughts are.  Laundrie would be in Sheriff’s Office custody.

Here’s exactly what Sheriff Grady said to the media.

“I can tell you that according to Florida law, when she was a victim of domestic violence originally, he would have been arrested.”

“I can tell you at this sheriff’s office, when he showed up with her car and she was no place to be found, we would never have let him out of our custody that day. Other than that, I’m not sure where their investigation is.”

Brian Laundrie has been missing from his home since September 14. You can watch the video of Sheriff Judd’s statement. He begins at 1:51.
