Pinellas Deputies save a boater in the Gulf as a boat runs wild. Did you know: If your boat has a “kill chord” and you’re not using it, you can get a citation? There’s a reason it’s there. This is the reason. This rescue happened off Pass A Grille Beach in St Pete.

This man was knocked from his boat by a big wave. Luckily his cellphone still worked, and he called 911 as his boat circled out of control near beach swimmers. All captured by Police helicopter in the video below. Deputies pulled him aboard and jumped on his out-of-control boat near the beach.
