This 9/11 memorial lights up the Tampa Bay sky this weekend. As these beams reach up into the sky, people will be reminded of the day that changed the world.

20 years ago many witnessed events that changed the world in which we live. Everywhere around Tampa Bay communities are remembering the events and the lives lost on 9/11. In Palm Harbor, Curlew Hills Memory Gardens commemorates 9/11 in a unique way.

After the sun sets, make sure you look toward Palm Harbor for the 9/11 Memorial Lights. These twin lights reach more than 1000 feet into the sky and are the only light memorial in the state of Florida. These lights, which are similar to the beams that illuminated New York City after that fateful day, not only help us remember but are also symbols of resilience and hope.

Curlew Hills is located at 1750 Curlew Road, Palm Harbor and will be having a special memorial service on September 11th. Find out more about it here.
