The Tampa Bay Lightning continue to make deals and they just signed a player that they know all too well. The Bolts signed forward Corey Perry to a two-year deal, who was an opponent of theirs in the last two Stanley Cup Finals.
Perry played for the Dallas Stars in 2019-2020 and the Montreal Canadiens in 2020-2021. Both of those teams lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Final. Maybe Corey thought to himself, “If you can’t beat them, join them.”
Perry is 36-years-old Perry and is a 2-time all-star and won the Hart Memorial Trophy in 2010-11, given to the league’s most valuable player.
