Walt Disney World is changing its face mask mandate.

This comes as the Delta variant Coronavirus cases in Florida and many places around the United States are surging. Earlier this week the Centers for Disease Control updated its face mask recommendation.

Last month Walt Disney World ended their mask mandate for vaccinated guests, but that is changing again.

Starting Friday, July 30th face masks will again be required for everyone at the theme park while indoors and on transportation. This is regardless of whether you are vaccinated or not.

So yes, this means masks will be required on indoor attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean and on transportation like busses and the monorail.

The face mask mandate is changing on the east coast and the west coast at Disneyland.
