She is a leader and has lots of eyes on her at this year's Olympics. That's why when we got the news today, that Simone Biles is out of the team competition....that's a big deal.
So...what happened? Well...that's still unclear. Some reports are saying it's an injury, others are saying, it's more of a mental issue. If you watched her the other day, you noticed that she was a little off.
There is no immediate word on the extent of Biles' injury or whether she can compete Thursday for the all-around title or in any of the four individual finals she qualified for....but we are praying for her and hoping she is ok.
Maybe she can pull it together for the individual titles.
This gives Russia a huge advancement.
