Tampa Bay Teacher Named Florida Teacher Of The Year
A Tampa Bay teacher is named Florida Teacher of the Year.
We’ve all had a teacher who was influential in our lives.
Eisenhower Elementary’s Sarah Ann Painter is an example of service, advocacy, and passion.
This Tampa Bay teacher made a difference in the lives of her fifth-grade students every day. Not only is she an educator, but she is a leader and a role model for teachers everywhere.
Her Tampa Bay classroom mantra is “Once a Painter, always a Painter” that she shares with her students to let them know that they are always a family.
Ms. Painter is going to be busy as she visits schools around Florida as the Christa McAuliffe Ambassador for Education. She will be sharing her best practices and inspiring her fellow teachers.
To answer the question of “Seminole or Gator?” Ms. Painter has a Masters degree from the University of Florida.
