The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won Super Bowl 55 and because of that, the team has been invited by the President to visit the White House.  Their visit will happen on Tuesday and this will be the first time a Tampa Bay team that won a championship will visit the White House. When the Bucs won their first Super Bowl in 2003 the invasion in Iraq was happening. When the Lightning won their first Stanley Cup in 2004 there was a lockout the next season and when they won their second Stanley Cup in 2020 there was a pandemic.

No word on how many of the players will be making the trip to the White House. This will be the first Super Bowl-winning team to visit the White House since 2017 when the Patriots won Super Bowl 51.
