Universal Orlando will no longer require guests who have the COVID-19 vaccine to wear a mask indoors.
Today (5/28) Universal Orlando made the decision that if you are visiting their parks, you do not need to wear a mask. But, there is a catch. This new mask update only pertains to guests who have the COVID-19 vaccine. Ultimately, Universal have made changes to their COVID-19 protocols due to the new CDC guidelines. Now, Universal Orlando does not require proof of vaccination but they expect those who are not fully vaccinated to wear face coverings while indoors. Regardless if you have the vaccine or not, Universal encourages all guests to keep a safe distance between travel parties. Also, they will continue to focus on maintaining the highest cleanliness and sanitization standards.
If you are wondering about Disney, they have yet to changes to their existing mask mandate.
