The neighborhood may be a little quieter this year, say the experts. This new report predicts a “fireworks shortage” this summer. If you think real hard you’ll realize that also means higher prices for any you might find, now or later.

Why a fireworks shortage? A couple of reasons. 1 – Blame the pandemic. One Minnesota store says the stock is down 30%, and they are waiting, waiting, waiting for shipments from China. 2 – All the cancelled shows last year had record numbers buying for their own backyard shows at home. That left very little overstock that “was” the market norm. Some say to expect prices to jump 10% to 20%.
