Large Manta Ray Spotted At Indian Rocks Beach

This paddle boarder caught a large Manta Ray off Indian Rocks Beach.  There’s a reason some of us carry a camera on our paddle boards. We see rays, jellyfish, manatees, sharks, turtles, tarpon, even whales – and no one believes us. Haaaa.

We have seen entire schools in the past. But not much since the awful red tide. Good to see these guys back in local waters.

They are beautiful.

I’ve had schools of friendly rays, teams of sharks, countless turtles and manatees stop by. I’ll try to catch a few videos for you this summer. Paddle on!
