Weekdays 10a-3p

If you have ever done “doughnuts” on a jet ski or boat, you know how fun it is. You also know if you are too close to others you’re gonna get yelled at, or hurt, or both. Unless, you’re helping Tampa firefighters put out a flaming boat.

All started when a small boat caught fire near the Lowery Park boat ramp. As firefighters were spraying from the shore, the boat started drifting out toward other dock areas.  That’s when a good Samaritan on a jet ski started doing the doughnuts to push the boat back toward shore with waves. Had a little fun. Helped put out a fire. Didn’t get yelled at or hurt doing doughnuts. Problem solved. No identity yet on the boat owner or good Samaritan.
