Every ten years the National Center for Environmental Information (NCEI) recalculates every state's normal temperatures. There have been a few changes to Tampa's decade update. In the summer, June, July, and August, our normal high temperature climbed from 89.5°to 90.9°. It doesn't seem like a lot, but trust me, you will feel the difference. It's even worse when it comes to the other months, average high temperatures in our winter went from 71.2° to 73° and from 81.1° to 83° in the spring. This is probably its been so hot these past couple of weeks. It's not just Florida feelin' the heat many states all over the nation are crackin' up the A/C too.
