Sunday was my favorite day of the year and I’m not talking about Valentine’s Day. It was the Daytona 500!
Luke Combs was there to perform and he killed it. He even honored the late Dale Earnhardt by wearing a special letterman jacket on the 20th anniversary of his passing. The jacket feathered the logo of Earnhardt’s longtime primary sponsor, his car number, PLUS a photo of the racing legend, his signature and a list of the years in which he won his seven Winston Cup Series championships. It definitely brought tears to my eyes seeing Luke rock the jacket.
Something else that is cool to note: This is Luke Combs first LIVE in-person performance since Valentine’s Day 2020. One whole year.
