Does it seem to you like Valentine’s Day is a holiday we could cut? Haaa. No. Don’t shoot the questioner! After all, you’ve probably spent more time than ever with your significant other over the past year than the last 5 combined. Tell me I’m wrong. Do you really need this occasion to spend more time with them?
Of course, Valentine’s Day is still happening in full force this year anyway. I’m getting flowers, some simple jewelry, and candy today! She gets mad if I spend too much. (another reason to love her) And , I’m not alone. According to a new survey, 62% of people say the holiday is still important this year. And just about half say the pandemic won’t affect how much they spend on Valentine’s Day. If you’re struggling with cash, remember your time is worth millions. So, spend that!
The survey also found 64% of people think you don’t really need to spend more than $100 on Valentine’s Day. Then, only 7% of people think you shouldn’t spend anything. Remember, your time is worth $$$ millions. And maybe a few dollar store balloons.
