The 4th annual Skyway 10K is going virtual this year.
Every registration dollar is donated to the Armed Forces Families Foundation and last year the race raised over $642K. So even though the race may be virtual this year, it’s still for a good cause.
For the virtual race participants can walk the 10k anywhere you’re legally allowed to run or on a treadmill between March 7th and March 31st. This DOES NOT include the Skyway Bridge this year.
The first 2,000 registrants will be eligible to bypass the lottery process for the 2022 Skyway 10K, assuming it will be an in-person run.
A total of 2,500 participants may register during the registration period, which will run from February 10th to March 6th, 2021 (or until an event sell-out).
Participants will also get a commemorative t-shirt, medal and certificate.
Those interested in participating can register at Skyway10K.com beginning Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 10 a.m.
