One of my all time faves. I got a Chicken Wing thing goin on. I love mine super hot sauced up. How bout’ you? Part of the fun is cooking batches on my lil acorn grill, and makin different flavors. Tossin ’em in BBQ or Hot Sauce or my special Sweet Tequila and Lime. (did I say that out loud?) Got some great recipes off TikTok. Haaa. No, really.
Every now and then, when I’m bowl tossin ’em in the sauce, one may hit the ground. 2 second rule applies. But really, I toss em’ in sauce, and then put em back on the grill to char just a little, and then toss em again. My wings are soooooo good. I have to post a “guard dog” on the grill. That’s where Peanut Butter comes in. Peanut Butter is the dog aka guard.
You might think that with fewer Super Bowl parties this year, people would do less Super Bowl eating and drinking. Well . . . nope. We’re all just going to do it alone. You know, the way gorging was MEANT to be done. According to the National Chicken Council, even with fewer Super Bowl parties this year, Americans are still projected to eat a record number of chicken wings during the Super Bowl . . . approximately 1.42 billion. That’s up 2% from last year and works out to an average of more than four wings for every person in the country.
The survey also found wings are the most popular Super Bowl food in 49 out of 50 states. Who’s the holdout? Maine, where the most popular Super Bowl food is lobster. Is Main even in the US anymore?
