Change happens but I did not see this one coming…
Ever since Disney World temporarily closed back in March due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the company has announced many changes coming to the resort. Including park hopping, hotel reopening dates, annual pass purchases, park pass reservation system, and the list goes on. These all had to do with limiting the capacity at each park but this next change comes as a surprise because so many out-of-state people rely on it. Disney is putting an end to the Magical Express bus system beginning in 2022. This is the transportation system for guests who fly to Orlando that brings them straight to their Walt Disney World hotel. That is huge news. The big question is: What will they replace it with? Or will they replace it at all? I thought it had something to do with the train station being added to Disney Springs but that won’t be done for a while.
They did share some good news:
Walt Disney World announced that extra magic hours will not be returning. Wait, it gets better. If you are staying at a Disney Resort you can enter any park 30 minutes before opening. This will be available for all parks every day for resort guess only. They haven’t announced a start date but their blog did say it will be later this year for their 50th Anniversary.
