Dan Smyers And Wife Abby Come To The Rescue Of A Nashville Dog
Dan Smyers of Dan + Shay and his wife Abby rescued a female dog this weekend just after the dog had given birth.
Dan posted a bunch of pictures and a video of him giving the dog a bath to Instagram. He wrote, “This sweet baby, malnourished and emaciated, was abandoned in a cardboard box after giving birth to puppies with the help of our friends at @wagsandwalksnashville, we were able to pull her from @nashanimalcare and start the process of nursing her back to health.”
He continued, “First stop on the freedom ride was @wagsandwhiskersnashville where we gave her the first bath of her life she was nervous, but so sweet to every dog and human she met. she reminded us of our sweet girl joy, and it broke out hearts to think that someone could let this happen to an animal. She’s in good hands now, with a wonderful foster, but is still looking for a more long-term foster, and ultimately her forever home!”
