Wilbur Beast, a French bulldog, is now the Mayor of Rabbit Hash, Kentucky. He received 13,143 votes out of 22,985. You think that is bizarre? Here were his opponents: Jack Rabbit, a beagle, and Poppy, a golden retriever. They are the runner-ups and will become Rabbit Hash ambassadors. They have had a dog as a mayor since 1998! They definitely live in simpler times in that town. I'm kinda jealous.
