Maren Morris won her first Best Female Artist award at the ACMs Awards in Nashville. Having performed earlier at the Ryman Auditorium, Maren drove across town to accept the honor at the Grand Ole Opry house.
When she accepted the award she thanked her “beautiful husband” and their baby Hayes at home as well as her team, she said something never said at a country award sow, “Oh my God I have to pee.”
Morris was up for a total of five awards tonight and this was her only win of the evening.
