The Rock Tested Positive For COVID-19, Says ‘Wear A Mask’
In a lengthy video posted to Instagram, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announced that he and his immediate family all tested positive for the coronavirus.
He said that he, his wife Lauren and their two young girls, Tiana and Jasmine are now on the “other side” of the virus and have recovered. He says his children didn’t have bad symptoms. But he also mentioned that he and his wife “had a rough go of it.”
He noted that “we are good,” and said that their commitment to health and wellness boosted their immune systems, and he believes that’s what helped pull them through.
He said that they got it from “very close family friends.”
“Wear your mask,” he added. “It baffles me that some people out there, including some politicians will take this idea of wearing masks and make it part of a political agenda. It has nothing to do with politics. Wear a mask. It’s the right thing to do.”
In his caption, he wrote, “Stay disciplined. Boost your immune system. Commit to wellness. Wear your mask. Protect your family. Be strict about having people over your house or gatherings. Stay positive. And care for your fellow human beings.”
