Tim McGraw and Brad Paisley -- like the rest of the world -- were shocked when they heard of the death of Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman on Friday night (8/28). Both country stars took to Instagram to share their grief.

Brad, who is known in country music as a big super hero guy (he gave Robert Downey Jr. an Iron Man Guitar and has a full Iron man suit in his living room), posted simply a picture of Boseman with, "There are no words. Thank you @chadwickboseman #restinpower #king."

Tim, whose father was Major League Baseball star Tug McGraw (who died of cancer), focused more on Boseman's breakout baseball role as Jackie Robinson in 42, posting, "Baseball is in my blood, literally...Jackie Robinson was a pioneer and made the game better, stronger and more inclusive .....On this day our heart goes out to the friends and family of Chadwick Boseman who played Jackie in 42."

He added, "Cancer sucks, support the @americancancersociety if you can. We must fight this horrible disease with everything we can.#RIP #jackierobinsonday."

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
