On Thursday (8/6) the Hillsborough County School Board voted that school will be virtual for the first four weeks. The board will meet again on September 8th to reevaluate the situation.
The school year will still start on August 24th, but instruction will be online.
In a Twitter post from the official account from Hillsborough County Public School, it says, “Our School Board has voted to implement 100% eLearning for 4 weeks, beginning August 24. The Board will reconvene September 8 to review the status of the coronavirus in our community and discuss next steps.”
