Planet Fitness sent an email to all of its members and said they wanted to have all of their members and guests wear a mask at all times to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. “Effective August 1, all Planet Fitness members (you!) & guests will be required to wear a mask inside our clubs, at all times,” said the email. “This added safety precaution also helps us to remain open to serve you and keep you healthy and moving!”

Planet Fitness employees are also required to wear masks and members and guests who forget a mask will be provided with one.

  Best Buy recently announced, "Everyone is required to wear a face covering so we can help protect each other. Please bring and wear a face mask or face covering that covers your nose and mouth during your consultation. We will supply a face covering if you don’t have one. Small children and those unable to wear one for health reasons may enter without one."

  On July 16, CVS issued a statement saying, "With the recent spike in COVID-19 infections, we're joining others in taking the next step and requiring all customers to wear face coverings when entering any of our stores throughout the country effective Monday, July 20. To be clear, we're not asking our store employees to play the role of enforcer. What we are asking is that customers help protect themselves and those around them by listening to the experts and heeding the call to wear a face covering."

• Dollar Tree

  Dollar Tree hasn't mandated a blanket mask policy, but they "request that our customers wear face coverings, and require face coverings where required by state or local ordinance."
• Kohl’s

  Kohl's recently announced, "Beginning Monday, July 20, we will require all customers to wear a face covering while shopping in our stores."

• Kroger

  Kroger announced masks will be required at all of their retail locations starting July 22. This includes all of the following store brands they own: Ralphs, Dillons, Smith’s, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, Fry’s, QFC, Harris Teeter, Mariano’s and Food 4 Less/Foods Co.

  Sam's Club announced it will require members to wear masks at all of their locations starting July 20. Complimentary masks will be provided if the member doesn’t have one or masks can be purchased inside of Sam's Club.

  Target said they will require masks or face coverings to be worn at all of their locations starting August 1 and will provide disposable masks to those who don't have one.
