Hillsborough County is following in the footsteps of Pinellas County and offering free physicals and immunizations for students for back to school this fall. There will be health fairs in July and August and the fairs will focus on uninsured or under-insured families that have to meet medical requirements for their children to go to school. Students will also get a free backpack while supplies last.

Register for one of the free clinics here and the list of dates and places for the clinics are listed below.

  • Lennard High School, 2342 Shell Point Road E., Ruskin – Saturday, July 25 from 9am to 1pm
  • Bowers Whitley Career Center, 13609 N 22nd St, Tampa – Saturday, August 1 from 9am to 1pm
  • Middleton High School, 4801 N 22nd Street, Tampa – Saturday, August 8 from 9am to 1pm
  • Blake High School, 1701 North Boulevard, Tampa – Saturday, August 1 from 9am to 1pm

Free physicals, immunizations for Hillsborough County students at 'Back 2 School Health Clinics'

TAMPA, Fla. - Hillsborough County Schools and the county's Back-2-School coalition are working together to provide students with free physicals and immunizations during a series of health fairs in July and August. The goal of the fairs is to provide a cost-effective way for students to get immunizations, physicals, vision and hearing screenings.
