Even one of the most notorious villains in movie history thinks face coverings are beneficial. In a new ad campaign encouraging people to wear face masks during the coronavirus pandemic, they get a little help from Jason Voorhees, the fictional villain from Friday the 13th.

Ogilvy Health, the ad agency behind the PSA, stresses the importance of thinking outside the box to get people’s attention. They write, “How can we get them to pay attention to this life-saving message? Tap into pop culture and entertain them. Don’t preach. Don’t fear-monger. Do the opposite. Make them smile, engage and share with their peers.”

The video starts with Jason saying, “It’s not easy. The mask kind of makes people uncomfortable. I’m just trying to fit in.” In the end, he’s given a face mask, which makes him more accepted.
