Minor-leaguers will continue to recieve a $400 weekly stipend to help cover the living expenses of the players who were sent home in mid-march due to the pandemic. Originally, payments were only going to last until the end of June. Now they will be getting it through the end of July.
Since the Minor League season was supposed to end in September, The Rays will have to decide on if they are going to extend it even further after July.
However, for now, players are very thankful to keep receiving payments from The Rays.
