Starbucks is set to close 400 stores in the United States and Canada over the next 18 months. They did announce that they are adding carryout and pick-up only locations. Starbucks expects to lose more than $3 billion in revenue in its third quarter due to the coronavirus. Starbucks President and CEO Kevin Johnson, “The Starbucks brand is resilient, customer affinity is strong and we believe the most difficult period is now behind us.”
No word on how many stores in the Tampa Bay Area will be effected.
