Us folks in the Sunshine State are feeling the heat, but not from the weather.
Have you seen the gas prices lately? They are on the rise and I’m not a fan. The coronavirus has hit us all pretty hard but the one sure thing is gas was very low. Lower than I’ve seen in years. According to a report from AAA released on Monday, the average gallon of gas in Florida cost $1.90 to start the week. That has been the highest in nine weeks!
Good thing we don’t live in or near West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, they had the most expensive gas in the state at $2.01 a gallon followed by Gainesville at $1.99. Tampa was one of four Florida cities with the least expensive gas in the state. Including: Orlando, Fort Myers, and Jacksonville. We have an average of $1.87 a gallon. I wish it was that low in Bradenton, I went down to go to an appointment and it was $1.99 a gallon. No Thanks!
Here is a reminder: Try to go and fill up your gas today before it goes up even more.

What’s open, what’s closed in Tampa Bay
Some Florida businesses are reopening as the number of COVID-19 cases begin to go down. Many have limited hours and capacity so it’s a good idea to call ahead.
