If you had any plans on a summer vacation in Hawaii, you might want to reconsider.
My friend was just talking about her upcoming trip to Hawaii, but I don’t think she is going to be going now. Because of the pandemic, all Hawaiian islands have implemented a 14-day quarantine for anyone who arrives by plane. If you go, you’ll have to stay in lockdown for two weeks. That’s not even worth it, unless you have a month off to travel, I surely don’t.
Hawaii Governor David Ige announced that the quarantine for new arrivals will continue past June 30th.
I have my reunion coming up in mid-July in Minneapolis, and I don’t even know if I want to fly yet.
