As of Saturday, April 18th, Hillsborough County has seen almost 1,000 coronavirus cases so far with Pinellas coming in at about half that number. The numbers are from the Florida Department of Health COVID-19 Data Dashboard. In Hillsborough and Pinellas, in terms of cases, it’s an even divide of men and women. The median age of patients in Hillsborough is 45 years old and it’s 55 years old in Pinellas. Statewide there have been 740 deaths and over 24,000 positive residents.
