Two Florida Colleges Announce Virtual Graduation Ceremony Dates
College students might not step on campus until the Fall and some are graduating without being in town. Two colleges in Florida have announced their virtual commencement ceremonies for their graduating students.
The first of two is Florida State University and they officially announced they will stream graduation festivities on May 2nd on their website, Facebook and YouTube. The ceremony will be re-aired in its entirety that same evening on Comcast cable, according to the university.
Next, Florida A&M University announced their plans for a virtual commencement ceremony on May 9th.
Officials announced that graduates who want to be included need to submit headshots and a message so they can be included in a slideshow honoring the graduating class.
This is great for students who are graduating this year. Although it is better to walk across the stage, this is a great way to honor the students.
