One of our station’s business partners reached out to us this morning hoping to find some help. Performance AC in Largo is making face masks to help slow the spread of the coronavirus. They tell us when they couldn’t find masks themselves, they got to work. Their 8 machines can produce 1,000 masks a day, but they need sewers to volunteer their time. They’re willing to train and if you have your own sewing machine, they say you can work from home. They’ll drop off the material to you and come pick them up when you’re done. They also hope to make a N95 version of the mask for our first responders. For more information, call Brian Hall at 727-350-1333 or visit PerformanceAC.com.
