In a further effort to slow down the spread of the coronavirus and “flatten the curve,” Governor Ron DeSantis today has ordered restaurants to only serve food via takeout. On site consumption of food and drinks is what they’re trying to eliminate. Restaurants can also still service customers via delivery. The governor spoke alongside Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez today in Miami. The new rules take effect immediately. Until this executive order, restaurants were told to keep dining room capacity under 50% of their normal allowance.
