The Coronavirus Could Impact March Madness
March Madness is now only two weeks away and the coronavirus might cause problems with the huge event.
The games are scheduled to be played in cities across the country, coast-to-coast, with thousands of fans and players and support staff attending each game…..but that could change.
Because of the coronavirus, there’s been some talk of still playing the games — but without fans in the stands. Can you imagine if you were a huge basketball fan and you already bought tickets to the games and made plans…and now, you can’t watch?
This scares me because we have concert season coming up – and we have A LOT of shows with A LOT of people in one area. If this is going to affect basketball games, it will surely affect concerts.
I saw the story in the Los Angeles Times.
Do you think you will stay away from crowds and big events like this?
I also heard they are in talks of postponing or canceling the Olympics in Tokyo, Japan this summer.
