The Rays might not have the best field location but we do have a greet team that could be headed to the World Series in 2020.
A meeting was held yesterday and this is what we found out:
- Mayor Jane Castor and County Commissioner Ken Hagan, met with Rays owner Stu Sternberg to talk about the future of the Tampa Bay Rays.
- The Government Officials, along with Stu, will work on an agreement that would move the team to Tampa or Hillsborough County and split the season with Montreal.
- Ybor City remains high on the list of the relocation possibilities.
- An agreement will be made by the end of 2020.
There has just so much talk about the relocation of the Tampa Bay Rays, I’m ready for the decision to be made. I would love for them to stay here in the Tampa Bay Area and not move back and forth. Let’s see what agreement they come up with…
