The Rolling Stones are coming to Tampa in July!
The last time the Stones played here was in 2005….which is over a decade ago.
The band announced that it will kick off a 15-city leg of its “No Filter tour” in San Diego on May 8. I saw the story on WFLA.com
They are set to perform at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on July 5. Nothing says Forth of July weekend then a Stones concert!
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. local time on Feb. 14. Additional details have been posted at the band’s website, rollingstones.com
I’ve never seen the Stones, so this is something I’m gonna try and see….because, lets be honest, its probably the last time they will be in Tampa.
Mick Jagger is 76 years old. My dad is 76 years old. There is no way my dad could be out on stage running around for 2 hours in 15 cities….
We heard the story a few months ago, after his heart surgery, Mick must have a cardiologist waiting in the wings at every Rolling Stones gig in case of an emergency.
If you haven’t seen the stones…. and you really want to, I would suggest checking this one out.
Listen to my favorite rock station 98.7 The Shark to win tickets to this show!
