I can’t tell if this is funny or just messed up…

A New York Islanders fan and his girlfriend were at a game and the two got on the infamous kiss cam. And what did the guy do…? He got down on one knee and… tied his shoe. I hope this girl was in on the joke, because it will be one awkward night if she thought it was real.

New York Islanders NHL hockey fan pretends to pop question & propose in cruel Kiss Cam joke

One Islanders fan used the arena "Kiss Cam" to play a cruel joke on his date Thursday, likely earning him a trip to the penalty box. The unidentified fan, sporting a Mat Barzal jersey, kissed the woman next to him after appearing on the Nassau Coliseum jumbotron and then stepped into the aisle and got down on one knee as if he was about to propose.
