It might take you awhile to get used to writing 2020 on new document. but when you start, police are warning others against abbreviating the new year.

According to ABC Action News, abbreviated versions can easily be altered, police warned. For instance, the date 1/2/20 can be altered to read 1/2/2017 or 1/2/2019 or some other year by adding two digits.
