It has been a great year for Country Music and these artists topped the list for their incredible tours in 2019:
5. Carrie Underwood
Go Carrie! This leading lady made the list and we are proud of her. In 2019 not only did Carrie Underwood give birth to a baby boy, Jacob Bryan Fisher, she also went on her nationwide Cry Pretty Tour 360, it netted her $44.9 million. She sold 586,982 tickets for 51 shows in 51 cities.
4. Florida Georgia Line
We saw these two guys this Summer during their 2019 Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour and they did not disappoint. FGL netted $54.5 million, they sold 767,893 tickets during 50 shows in 45 cities. We cannot wait to see them when they come back to Tampa with Kenny Chesney and Old Dominion during the Chillaxification 2020 Tour on May 9th 2020 at Raymond James Stadium.
3. Mumford & Sons
We don’t see this name very often but they made the list for an awesome 2019 on the road. Folk-rock band Mumford & Sons sold 905,352 tickets for 65 shows in 59 different cities. They brought in a net total of $64 million.
2. Eric Church
Coming in second place is one of our favorites, Eric Church. His 2019 Double Down Tour netted $68.8 million and sold 750,961 tickets for 52 shows in 29 different cities. He did not make it to Florida this time around, but we will forgive him and hope to see him in Tampa soon.
1. Garth Brooks
Garth has a “GO BIG OR GO HOME” feel during his tours. He sells out stadiums that have never been sold out before. He is constantly breaking tour records and it shows. Garth Brooks sold 856,000 tickets for 13 shows in 10 different cities, netting $76.1 million. Making him the top touring country artist of 2019.
