Scary morning for those working at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport
Early Thursday morning, a man crashed his truck truck into the baggage claim area of Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. “FHP says Juan Monsivis, 40, drove his white GMC Sierra through a perimeter fence, accelerated through the arrivals baggage claim and hit the National Car Rental’s desk. It happened around 2:50 a.m. According to ABC Action News, the truck, traveling north on U.S. 41, broke through a fence, across a ramp, and through a cinder block wall into the baggage claim area.
The only individual injured was the driver, all airport employees have been reported safe. I’m sure they are shook. This is a scary incident and hope everyone turns out okay.
