What do you think of this statement?

I had to chuckle when I saw this.  Of course we all love Christmas music.... I do to...but honestly, in small doses.  I get sad and depressed when I hear it sometimes.  When I'm in the mall shopping and they have it on, I sometimes leave the stores because I don't want to be sad...and it's cuz of the Christmas music.

Am I alone in this?

I guess not, because some psychologists are warning that too much Christmas music can be harmful to your health.   The holidays can trigger people’s emotions especially if this time of year reminds them of a loss. Hearing Christmas songs could have a negative effect and cause additional stress.

BINGO.  It makes me sad because my sister and mom are no longer with me and it's hard around the holidays.

People working in the shops have to learn how to tune out Christmas music, because if they don't, it really does make you unable to focus on anything else.
